Legend Robot Unveils Mobile Continuous Spraying Technology at Big 5 Saudi

Legend Robot introduces its mobile continuous spraying technology and 3.3m Putty and Latex Spraying Robot at Big 5 Construct Saudi for Vision 2030 projects.

News About Mobile Continuous Spraying Technology

Autonomous construction equipment developer Legend Robot announced the regional preview of its interior finishing fleet at Stand 3B49, Hall 3, during Big 5 Construct Saudi in Riyadh. The showcase focuses on the deployment of its 3.3-meter Putty and Latex Spraying Robot, leveraging proprietary mobile continuous spraying technology engineered to maintain structural finishing precision across Middle Eastern jobsites.

The automated units feature specialized thermal management and sealed mechanical assemblies designed to operate reliably in ambient jobsite heat exceeding extreme summer thresholds. During field trials at the Qiddiya Mock-up site in Riyadh, the fleet achieved verified spraying efficiencies of up to 226 square meters per hour while working alongside contractor Furnishing House.

The fleet has also undergone regional material verification, confirming full compatibility with local GCC coating systems. Tested latex products include Jotun Durosan Interior, Jotun Fenomastic, and Jazeera Green, alongside heavy-duty putty compounds such as Caparol Mid Coat and ChemiPaint Acrylic Crack Filler. Additional GCC commercial deployments include high-rise vertical finishing at DAMAC Hills and residential wall preparation across DAMAC Lagoons in Dubai.

Significance of Mobile Continuous Spraying Technology

The deployment of mobile continuous spraying technology is highly significant for the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) construction sector because massive infrastructure developments under Saudi Vision 2030 require rapid, high-volume interior finishing under strict project deadlines. Traditional manual plastering and painting rely heavily on manual labor crews, extended scaffolding setups, and multi-pass manual application steps that introduce material inconsistency and safety hazards.

Unlike legacy stationary or fixed-point spraying machinery that must repeatedly pause to reposition before each application cycle, mobile continuous spraying technology enables the robot to apply coatings while moving continuously across wall surfaces. This continuous motion increases application efficiency by 1.5 to 2 times compared to standard stop-and-spray automation.

Furthermore, integrating AI path-planning algorithms optimizes material distribution and reduces coating waste by up to 15%. Automated high-pressure airless spraying ensures consistent coating uniformity, allowing general contractors to meet stringent quality requirements on gigaprojects like NEOM and Qiddiya while protecting jobsite workers from hazardous height and dust exposure.

Next Steps for Mobile Continuous Spraying Technology

Following the preview at Big 5 Construct Saudi from August 30 to September 2, 2026, Legend Robot will initiate technical demonstrations for regional general contractors and site managers. Engineering teams led by Marketing Director Jason Liang will oversee the onboarding of commercial units across regional commercial projects.

Looking ahead, Legend Robot plans to expand technical support infrastructure across Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates. The company will continue collaborating with regional material manufacturers to certify additional specialized coatings, ensuring seamless integration across future Vision 2030 residential and commercial developments.
