Rather than requiring rigid preset automation rules, ThinQ Claw processes natural conversational updates from users regarding their daily schedules, grocery purchases, and personal comfort preferences. The agent analyzes real-world context to suggest recipes based on active fridge inventory, adjust indoor climates ahead of arrival, or trigger robotic vacuum routines automatically.
The broader ecosystem incorporates the Homey smart home platform—developed by Athom, which LG acquired in 2024—enabling cross-brand interoperability across third-party appliances, smart meters, solar panels, and EV chargers. Furthermore, LG is giving a European debut to ThinQ Pro for multi-family residential and commercial property management, with the entire connected infrastructure secured by the LG Shield security framework.
